We were very focused on what we wanted to accomplish with these coilovers. They are now being built completely in house by our engineering staff in Salt Lake City. From filling the shocks with oil and nitrogen, to building sub assemblies, to final assembly including mounts and springs these coilovers are a unique Pfadt Race Engineering design. Being an engineering firm we are able to tailor all of our products to each specific application and you won't find as much Camaro specific engineering in any other product on the market. The Pfadt Camaro sway bars required major engineering changes from the factory bar package to eliminate the notorious under-steer. Basic vehicle dynamics say that to eliminate under-steer you must increase the roll stiffness in the rear of the car - our rear bar does exactly that. That's how we achieve such great balance. If a sway bar package offers huge increases in the stiffness of the front bar, your Camaro is going to suffer from increased under-steer compared to the OEM sway bars!

Pfadt rear trailing arms, 2010+ Camaro

The Pfadt 2010 Camaro Rear Trailing Arms were developed using the latest analysis software which enabled us to increase strength by 106% while simultaneously reducing mass by 17%. The decrease in trailing arm mass allows the suspension to react more quickly to the changing road surface keeping the tire in contact with the road to increase traction. Through further analysis and testing we were able to achieve a 32% reduction deflection which helps decrease wheel hop and increase traction even further.
Included with this kit is our leading edge Trailing Arm Bushing Kit. Utilizing lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum sleeves that are hard anodized to create incredible surface hardness and microscopic pores to hold our special grease. These sleeves are then Teflon coated to further reduce friction. This is then coupled with our graphite impregnated polyurethane bushing which uses deep grease grooves to hold and continuously re-lubricate the surfaces for long and quiet operation. The result is an ultra lightweight, ultra-low friction joint that is 42% lighter than the OE bushing and more durable then ever before. This kit includes the bushing for both the trailing arm and also the upright for a complete performance trailing arm upgrade.
The final arm is the result of four stages of precision manufacturing; CNC machining of the bushing housing, Laser cutting of the intricate panels, CNC bending and TIG welding to finish the assembly.
Pfadt Solid Subframe bushings, 2010 + Camaro

With the Pfadt Camaro Solid Subframe bushings you can completely eliminate subframe movement. By solidly mounting the rear subframe you will find that the car feels more precise and reacts to your steering inputs more quickly. Drag racers will find that their launches will be more controlled and wheel hop will be drastically reduced if not eliminated. When launching the car before we found that the subframe would violently oscillate and cause a drastic reduction in traction. Now with the solid subframe mounts the launch is substantially smoother and more controlled. Auto-crossers and road-racers will find that the rear end is more controlled and the car is far more stable and predictable. After the installation of the solid subframe mounts the chassis and subframe are no longer acting as separate structures so the rigidity and strength of the rear subframe and chassis is also improved.
